a small mountain, the largest of the few around, surrounded by dense green
forests, were three brothers, engaged in tapasya. Or at least two of them were
upon it. The third being an abnormally huge and bulky person, had been unable
to climb up the mountain. He had seated himself at its base, in the cross
legged posture of those who meditate, while his two brothers had persevered to
climb to the top. The youngest of the three was seated in the same cross legged
posture as their middle brother but the eldest brother, the most determined of
the three, stood on one leg, his arms held above his head with his palms
together.

एक दिन श्रील चेतन्य महाप्रभु पुरी (उड़ीसा) के जगन्नाथ मंदिर में 'गुरूड़ स्तंभ' के सहारे खड़े होकर दर्शन कर रहे थे। एक स्त्री वहां श्रद्धालु भक्तों की भीड़ को चीरती हुई देव-दर्शन हेतु उसी स्तंभ पर चढ़ गई और अपना एक पांव महाप्रभुजी के दाएं कंधे पर रखकर दर्शन करने में लीन हो गई। यह दृशय देखकर महाप्रभु का एक भक्त घबड़ाकर धीमे स्वर में बोला, 'हाय, सर्वनाश हो गया! जो प्रभु स्त्री के नाम से दूर भागते हैं, उन्हीं को आज एक स्त्री का पाँव र्स्पश हो गया! न जाने आज ये क्या कर डालेंगे।' वह उस स्त्री को नीचे उतारने के लिए आगे बढ़ा ही था कि उन्होंने सहज भावपूर्ण शब्दों में उससे कहा -'अरे नहीं, इसको भी जी भरकर जगन्नाथ जी के दर्शन करने दो, इस देवी के तन-मन-प्राण में कृष्ण समा गए हैं, तभी यह इतनी तन्मयी हो गई कि इसको न तो अपनी देह और मेरी देह का ज्ञान रहा.....अहा! ठसकी तन्मयता तो धन्य है......इसकी कृपा से मुझे भी ऐसा व्याकुल प्रेम हो जाए।
निष्कर्ष:
काम करते समय दूसरों की गलतियों की बजाय अच्छाइयां दूँढ़ना अपनी आदत में लें, जिससे हमारे काम की गुणवत्ता बढ़े और समय की बचत हो। साथ में यह आदत हमारे शिष्ट-व्यवहार को दर्शाएगी।
काम करते समय दूसरों की गलतियों की बजाय अच्छाइयां दूँढ़ना अपनी आदत में लें, जिससे हमारे काम की गुणवत्ता बढ़े और समय की बचत हो। साथ में यह आदत हमारे शिष्ट-व्यवहार को दर्शाएगी।

The Paandavas carried on, for staying back
after a lost one was to turn away from progress on the path that they had
chosen. But that same vision of the hound of doom greeted Sahadeva next. The
youngest Paandava shut his eyes and ears but there was no escaping its huge
form and its dooming bark. His gift of wisdom and soothsaying, on which he had
prided himself inordinately his entire life, of no use to him now. He too fell,
fated to enter Swarga-loka as just a spirit, not as a mortal. Shortly after his
fall, the hound appeared to Nakula, Sahadeva's twin brother. The handsome Paandava,
known in all the lands for his charming face, joined his brother in fate,
undone by his vanity about his appearance.
